Castellon

Castellón is situated on the East of the Spain peninsula.At East it borders on Mediterranean Sea, at Northwestern on the provinces of Tarragona, and at West on Valencia. Castellón is the second province the most mountainous in Spain, and its coast is called Costa Azahar.
 
The province of Castellón is the only province where we can cross from the sea to the mountain in very few kilometers. We can find the classical sun and beach tourism in Benicasim, Oropesa, Peñíscola..etc, and also we can discover a lot of tourism inside of rurals houses. There are a lot of towns like Morella, San Mateo, Segorbe...., spas in Montanejos, Benasal, Catí, springs like the river Palencia....and a large variaty of paths.
 
In Castellón, we can fin also a big variaty of landscape and nature spot in all the city like the underground caves of San José in the Vall of Uxó, castles like the Peñíscola or the Morella, the fortify town of Mascarell, the roman remains of Benicató and the religious architecturein Nules, moderns houses in Burriana and Benicarló, tourist "resorts" like Marina Dor and the Renegá, the peculiar tower "The Fadrí" in Castellón de la Plana, the "Entrance of bullfighting and horses" in Segorbe or the "Cartuja de Vall de Cristo" and the "Santuario de la Cueva Santa" in Altura. The temparature in Castellón is more or less 17ºC, and this temperature permit to practice a lot of activities during the year.
 

Valencia

Valencia is the capital of Comunidad Valencia. Is the third city of Spain in importance and population, and the 15ª city in the U.E.
 
Valencia has a lot of natures spaces like the Nature Park of Albufera and numerous parks. The most popular parks are the followings: the garden Real (it is called Municipal Nursery) or the old bed of the Turia River. Besides, in Valencia is often to descover different cultural buildings like the "Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno", the Musseum of saint Pío V, one of the most important in art in Spain, or we can find varied Gothics,Renaissances,and Baroques churchs. Is important to know that thera are in Valencia another cultural interest monument called "Estación del Norte" and it is visited for many tourist who arrive by train.
 
Valencia is known in the rest of the wold for its lively night life. This cause that many people come to Valencia every week-end to life the night from the cities that are closer, like the cod route or Route Destroy.
 
Valencia surprise everybody due to it night life. We can taste different plates until very late at night, live music, and many pubs, discotheques...
 
In Valencia we can find a delicious coktel, the Valencian Water that is composed mainly with cellar and juice of oranje. We can fin, also, the maritime facade nexto to the port. Nowadays, this facade is being remodeled and is take up for many pubs and discotheques. Besides, it is bein reused the old stores called "Docks" where there are a big discothequecalled "Dockas".

Alicante and Eurodipity

Alicante is the second city the most important of Comunidad Valenciana with 322.673 of population. Alicante is situated in the Mediterranean coast.
 
In Alicante we can find an extraordinary and beatiful place called "Isla de Tabarca". This place is an obliged excursion to everybody who visit the white coast. Isla de Tabarda is the only island inhabit of Comunidad Valenciana and is located in front of the city of Alicante and closer to the cape of Santa Pola. Isla de Tabarda is, in reality, a small archipelago compused, appart from Tabarca, of islets: La cantera, La galeta y la Nao. This island has 1.800 meters long more or less, and 400 meters width. The walls that surround its city centre has been declared Historic-Artistic site. Also, its waters have been declared marine reserve due to the excelent quality of the flora and fauna.
 
The most popular holidays in Alicante are the bonfires of San Juan. This holidays are the biggest holidays and official in Alicante.The bonfires of San Juan have been declared of interest to tourist in the rest of the world since 1984. In this bonfires it is burned things, and people dance around the bondfires. This holiday has it queen, the beaty of Foc who is elected between the rest of the queen elected in the rest of the districs. In the following days, after the bonfires take place a competition of fireworks in the beach of Postiguet.

Gastronomy of Comunidad Valenciana

The gastronomy of Comunidad Valenciana has a lot of variety of products, although the main course are the rices. The most pupolar rice in Comunidad Valenciana is the paella. The rice is the basic ingredient of the most of the typical courses in country of Comunidad Valenciana, like rice a banda, brown rice,etc.
 
The Mediterranean climate, specially the Valencian climate, help the cultivation of citrus and vegetables, being the most important the cultivation of oranges. Oranges are the tipical fruits of the valencian agriculture.
 
Another tipical products in Comunidad Valenciana is the drink, which the ctraditional core is the production of "Alboraya". Alboraya is a tipical drink accompanied with "fartons". Besides, is traditional the production of coffe liquor (this drink is tipical of Alcoy), and the "mistela" (this drink is tipical of Marina Baja and la Hoya de Buñol).
 
The last tipical products in Comunidad Valencia are the cookies and sweets. The great majority of cookies and sweets have there origin in arab time. Nowadays, most of them are very famous in the rest of the world. Jijona is the place where the nougat candy is produced. Nougat candy is a kind of fruit that it is very eat in Christmas in Spain and in the rest of the Hispanic World. Nowadays it is often to produce another tipical Christmas products, like marzipans.
 
Játiva is a place where the famous Arnadí is produce. Arnadí is a dessert produce with pumpkin. In Orihuela and in their region, we can fin "las almojábenas", and in Alcoy "las pesadillas". And, finally, in Villajoyosa we can discober an important tradition of chocolats.

The Comunidad Valencia is compose by three provinces: Alicante, Castellón and Valencia.

The Comunidad Valenciana is surrounded by the Mediterranean and is an autonomous region of Spain situated in the East. At North it borders on Cataluña y Aragón, at west it borders on castilla-La Mancha y Aragón, and at south it borders on the region of Murcia.

 The country of the Comunidad Valenciana offer an endless possibility to discover lovely spots and places through the coastline and also inland. You can plan a lot of different activities related to the country holidays in all the country but specially in Velencia, Alicante, Benidorm and in Costa Blanca or Castellón Costa Azahar.

 You can find in the country of Comunidad Valenciana many nature spaces, mountains, plains or wetlands, even places where you cans see how ancients civilizations have left artistic and cultural traces. All those things, make Comunidad Valenciana the perfect destination to people who want to enjoy the country holidays or to people who like to walk down a path.

Talking about eurodipity and tourism

It will be a great pleasure to talk about tourism in Comunidad Valenciana, a really nice place to go for holidays in summer.

However the aim of this blog is to win the Eurodipity contest, and in this sense we will try to rank in first position for Google.ch the following 5th September. The prices are quite interesting, first place a Mac Book Air (nice) and second place a week stay holidays at Benidorm.
